We are committed to providing a safe, timely, reliable and procedurally fair environment for anyone involved in a report of maltreatment. Everyone connecting with our team will be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.
We recognize that the reporting process can be difficult and that you may have questions before you decide if you want to report. Our support team is here to:
- share information about what can be reported and what to expect after submitting a report.
- connect individuals with available mental health and other support services.
- re-direct reports that fall outside of the CSSP jurisdiction to the appropriate reporting agency, where available.
- answer questions about the CSSP.
You can connect with the CSSP support team by email or phone or anonymously through RealResponse, in English and/or French. Contact us here.
The CSSP support team does not provide emergency assistance. Safety is important to us. If there is an immediate threat to someone’s safety, call 911.
If you are in crisis and need immediate support, consider connecting with a crisis service such as:
- Kids Help Phone offers 24/7 mental health support to kids, youth, and young adults by calling 1-800-668-6868 or texting 686868 or messaging the Kids Help Phone directly on their website.
