Sport participants have the right to train and compete in safe and supportive environments. By adopting and implementing the CSSP, federally funded, national-level sport organizations and multi-sport organizations demonstrate their commitment to safe sport.
Organizations that adopt the CSSP and their participants are subject to the UCCMS, which is administered by the CCES.

The following organizations' CSSP contracts are currently suspended:
Adopting Sport Organizations that participate in the CSSP have key responsibilities to support the effective implementation of the program and to foster a safe sport environment. A critical part of this commitment includes ensuring participants complete the mandatory 40-minute e-learning module and sign the consent form – steps that are essential for participants to understand their rights and responsibilities under the CSSP.
Without these foundational requirements, the CCES may be unable to process safe sport reports involving individuals from these organizations. These obligations are in place to protect all participants and to reinforce the collective responsibility of the sport community in upholding safe sport standards.
The following sport organizations have not fulfilled the critical requirements set out in their adoption contracts. As a result, the CCES has suspended their agreements:
- Cricket Canada - Date of Suspension: October 14, 2025
As a result of this suspension, individuals previously identified as CSSP participants by these organizations no longer have access to CSSP reporting mechanisms or protections. These individuals should contact their respective sport organizations for alternative reporting options.
If an organization listed above fulfills their outstanding obligations, the CCES will reinstate them under the CSSP and issue a public statement to ensure their participants are informed.
