Ottawa – November 19, 2025 – Sport integrity information for the Milano Cortina 2026 Games is now available for Team Canada athletes and support personnel, including anti-doping, safe sport, and competition manipulation prevention resources. The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) has consolidated information about therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs), whereabouts, doping control, supplements, and other education requirements on our Milano Cortina 2026 webpage.

We are pleased to offer a new Clean Sport Travel Tips webpage to inform athletes about what they need to consider when it comes to anti-doping and travel, including information specific to the Games.

The CCES reminds athletes to carefully check the status of any medication to ensure it won’t result in a positive test. To determine if medications are prohibited and a TUE is required, use Global DRO.

Education Requirements

Athletes and support personnel going to the Milano Cortina Games have education requirements to complete before the event:

  • Anti-Doping: Complete a 2025 or 2026 version of Clean Sport or The Clean Sport Review, depending on your eligibility
  • Safe Sport: Complete Safe Sport and sign the consent form.
  • Competition Manipulation: Complete Understanding Competition Manipulation. If you took it prior to 2024, you must do it again because it includes new information. This course is not mandatory for Paralympic athletes and support personnel, but we encourage everyone to take it.

Congratulations and best of luck to all Team Canada athletes competing in Italy! As you take the world stage, we hope you’ll train and compete with integrity, respect, and pride.
