Athletes who are part of the registered testing pool under the Canadian Anti-Doping Program can be tested for blood or urine or both, at any given time. The procedures for urine and blood collection are essentially the same whether the tests are conducted out of competition or in competition. Athletes can be approached anywhere (e.g. at their home, at the gym, at a hotel, at a training camp or at a competition).

The Blood Procedures and Urine Procedures B-Rolls outline the important details pertaining to both types of tests.
